Still on the road…

We’re heading to Asheville right now to rehearse with Toubab Krewe, in prep for The Infamous Krewe show that we’ll take on the road this fall. This is one of my favorite bands–I can’t wait to work out some new tunes together, to craft something unique and musical that will rock a big crowd. I think there will be some collaborations on existing material, some entirely new stuff, some smaller ensembles of guys from each band, and probably a bit of each band on their own. We’ll know more after a few days with them in NC. I’ll video the process as it comes together. We should have a bunch of shows together, more details coming soon. We just left Savannah, GA. Two shows with the Tim O’brien Band (Tim, Stuart Duncan, Bryan Dutton and Mike Bub). They were in top form. I got some vids with my new camera. Later that night, we played with Sam Grisman, Jeff Autry and Tony Williamson. Great jam–great weekend. We’ll be back in Nashville this week, meeting with the whole team for our upcoming records, playing the Exit Inn Thursday then back to Charlottesville. Very exciting times…
