Grammy Nomination #3!

We (the Stringdusters) have been nominated for another Grammy, for our tribute to the legendary father of Bluegrass, Bill Monroe. This is not a record we would have made early in our career when we were trying to establish our own sound, and even distinguish ourselves from what ‘bluegrass’ meant and was associated with 15 years ago. But bluegrass is hip, and Monroe is the one who started it all. It’s always a huge honor to be at the Grammys, but an even bigger honor to be recognized for a record that shines a light on the forefathers of our music.
