TRAD PLUS is my solo musical journey, bringing together all the eclectic sounds I’m into: beats, synths, digital, analog, lots of vintage vinyl samples, strings, some banjo and plenty of weird. I have two albums. The first one is called Interference, and it dropped in 2016. Nick Falk plays the live drums (my soul brother and unreal drummer, currently with Hiss Golden Messenger) and Oteil Burbridge plays bass on one track. I played everything else, as well as writing and arranging all the music. My latest project, TRAD PLUS presents Trance Banjo, is a concept album that features old symphonic vinyl samples on every track, plus trancey beats and modern banjo compositions galore.
